60 pages is a very short document for the fundamental changes that are going to happen and have no doubt they will happen whether people are ready or not! The documnet should have been many times longer instead everything is left for the local people in the NHS to make it happen even though their jobs are at risk and I expect if they are sensible they will be keeping one eye open for opportunities to get themselves a new job!!Who will be in control some Dr's have got the bit between their teeth and are 'raring' to go other don't want to be involved but they have no choice but they will weight until they have to do something and then act reluctantly!!Hosptals thought they would sit on the sidelines and watch probably with amusement the changes around them but now we hear ready or not financially sound or not all hospitals will be Foundation Trusts sooner rather than later!!My main concern is who is going to speak up for patients?

So now the consultation on this first bit is done - what happens now? I understand that the GPs in Suffolk are not at all happy about doing the job of the PCT. And how aer they going to "engage" with patients to find out their views?
